Solidarity with Chris Smalls, founder of the Amazon Labor Union, who was beaten, choked, and kicked by the Israeli military. 

Brother Chris was on an aid ship bound for Gaza as part of the efforts by the international antiwar movement to break the humanitarian blockade on Gaza and end the genocide. 

As a working-class elected representative, I was proud to stand with Chris and his fellow Amazon workers in their historic unionization victory at JFK8 in NYC. And I am proud to again stand with Chris and millions of working people globally against the Israeli state, the genocidal Democratic and Republican Parties in the U.S., and the billionaire class that has profited grotesquely from war and genocide.

It’s no surprise that the Israeli military, which has been carrying out a genocide, would target antiwar activists like Chris with such violence. 

The Israeli state, with the full and unconditional backing of Western imperialism, has transformed Gaza into hell on Earth for the Palestinian people. After already having slaughtered nearly half a million Palestinians, the Israeli state is killing more daily and using mass starvation as a weapon against the entire population of Gaza. 

This further horror of famine and starvation has been engineered with the FULL support of — and cheerleading by — the Democratic and Republican Parties and the billionaires they represent.

Every billionaire and multimillionaire who is profiting from the killings needs to be on trial for war crimes.

Every one of the politicians who voted to send money for this genocide, including my opponent, Democratic Congressmember Adam Smith, needs to be thrown out of office and tried for war crimes. They must not be allowed to whitewash their genocidal record. They have the blood of every Palestinian killed in this genocide on their hands.
