Yesterday a Super PAC called “Movement for Kshama” announced that they are gathering signatures “to get Kshama on the ballot.”
By law, Super PACS are not allowed to coordinate with elections campaigns, nor are they allowed to make in-kind contributions. For this reason, the gathering of ballot signatures by a Super PAC, and the submission of any of those signatures, creates a serious legal risk for our campaign.
This irresponsible decision by the leaders of this Super PAC forces us to clarify some things publicly: the Kshama for Congress campaign did not ask this Super PAC to gather ballot signatures; our campaign has not coordinated with them regarding this or any other activity; our campaign will not accept contributions from this or any other Super PAC.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Tech Workers for Kshama national meeting. The energy was incredible, and we’re just getting started. During our discussion, one tech worker asked a question that I think is on every tech worker’s mind right now: how do we fight against the mass layoffs happening in the tech sector?
Barely 24 hours after our meeting, we saw exactly why this matters: on March 31st, between 20,000 and 30,000 Oracle workers, roughly 18% of the company’s global workforce, woke up to a cold five-line email from “Oracle Leadership” at 6am. No phone call. No meeting with HR. No warning from their managers. Just a message telling them their roles had been eliminated, that today was their last working day, and that their access to company systems had already been cut.
Comrades,
We are gathering at a time of this historic crisis of capitalism and also, unfortunately at a time of deep crisis of the left.
Working and young people are turning against capitalism. A majority are disgusted by both Democrats and Republicans and want a new party.
Trump and Netanyahu carried out a massive joint military attack on Iran last night. This is a horrific escalation that once again threatens to engulf the entire Middle East in a disastrous and protracted war.
Our campaign completely opposes and condemns this bipartisan assault on Iran by U.S. imperialism.

Despite widespread opposition from working people, Donald Trump and the Republicans have launched a horrific attack against Venezuela and carried out a military coup, including abducting President Nicolás Maduro. This assault by U.S. imperialism must be completely condemned. It is a culmination of a decades-long project of U.S. imperialism motivated not by the false allegations … Read more →

On Wednesday this week, the U.S. House voted to authorize a gruesome $900 billion for weapons and war through the 2026 national defense authorization act, or the NDAA. This nearly trillion dollars in blood money was approved with broad bipartisan support in the midst of the continuing holocaust in Gaza and the threat of war … Read more →
